All registered youth and adults must pay this fee to support the work of American Heritage Girls across the country and world. Families should expect to register at least one adult member. Only registered adults can attend overnight events and volunteer with the troop.

$8.25

$12.00
3 badges per girl per year ($3.25 each plus shipping)
$5.00
Troop Track subscription ($100 per year)
$55.00
Total dues per girl

For example, a family with one girl registering for AHG would pay $35 for her membership fee, $35 for a parent's membership fee, and $55 in troop dues for a total of $125.

Awards

Badges being completed at home are an additional fee. All badges completed within troop meetings are paid for by troop dues.

Uniforms/ Handbooks

Uniforms can be purchased from the AHG Store. Uniforms are good through each entire Level (for example, a Tenderheart wears the same uniform from 1st through 3rd grade). Handbooks are available to purchase with uniforms in a start-up bundle (one for Tenderheart through Explorer levels & one for Pioneer through Patriot Levels). Please see the AHG store for the most up-to-date pricing. The troop also has a selection of handmedown uniforms available for families to utilize.

Fundraising

Girls have the opportunity to participate in our annual fundraiser in October selling evergreen wreaths. Since we only hold one fundraiser, we appreciate the enthusiastic support of our families. Our troop board sets a fundraising target every year in light of our planned expenses. We rely on fundraising to provide the majority of our annual budget which goes towards troop supplies, financial aid, service project supplies, and event fees. If you would like to see a more detailed budget breakdown, please contact the Troop Coordinator.

Special Events

For certain special events, such as field trips or camping trips, additional charges may apply. The troop subsidizes the cost of events as much as our budget allows.
